Welcome to my debut video. It’s rough, I’ll admit it, but this is my first
foray into the world of video and editing. Expect more in the future.

BUDGET AND THE DEBT CEILING
I think the best quote from the 2006 Congressional vote to extend the budget ceiling was the following, “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.” Too true! Barack Obama nailed it when he said that. Yeah, THAT Barack Obama, y' know the one who promised to cut the national deficit in half by the end of his first term1. Reid was adamantly against raising the debt ceiling, also2.

RACE IS NOT A DISABILITY
I understand that racism exists and that bothers me, but what bothers me more is the Democratic machine that capitalizes on keeping it that way, while asserting that it is the Republicans that are responsible. Actually, the opposite is true. Historically, the Democrats have done more to hold back minorities than Republicans.

REPUBLICAN SPENDING?
I've been meaning to research this for some time... and now I have.
The current administration loves to blame Bush for the deficit. I decided to take a little walk down down memory lane... won't you come with me?
